Wandering Borders is more than a brand, it's a reflection of a life lived in pursuit of freedom, exploration, and the experiences that make us feel truly alive.
We're Cherese and Simon, and this is our quest!
Our Journey
Our story began with a shared desire to see more of the world and experience life beyond the familiar. From living on Vancouver Island to exploring new places across the world. Experiencing new cultures through short trips and extended journeys of self discovery based travel. We have and continue to explore areas throughout South East Asia, South America, Europe, and North America, with so many more on the list! Travel has shaped who we are and how we see the world.
Each destination has offered something different, mountain roads, remote coastlines, vibrant cultures, unexpected friendships, and moments that remind us how much there is still to discover.
For us, travel is about more than checking destinations off a list. It's about freedom and stepping beyond comfort zones, embracing the unknown, and uncovering the beauty, wonder, and mystery woven into life itself.
Along the way, we've come to realize that every adventure is a journey of unbecoming, slowly letting go of old limitations, expectations, and beliefs, to become more fully ourselves.
Why Wandering Borders?
Wandering Borders was created to share that spirit of exploration and to celebrate the places that leave a lasting mark on our hearts. Every design is inspired by real experiences, landscapes, and adventures from our travels. Like our log itself, crafted from our very first Island experience, so authentic and unique, and so close to our hearts.
Whether it's a winding road through the mountains of Northern Vietnam, the rugged coastlines of Vancouver Island, or the feeling of standing somewhere completely new, our goal is to create pieces that remind you of the adventures you've had—and inspire the ones still waiting ahead.
